2024 Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship Courses for Youth
Standing Rock CDC will be hosting a series of financial literacy courses for youth in our community!
Standing Rock CDC will be hosting a series of financial literacy courses for youth in our community! These classes cover the basics of things like credit card management, starting your own business, and more.

Fort Yates Mobile Food Pantry visits April 27
The Fort Yates Mobile Food Pantry will be stopping by on Wednesday April 27, 2022.

Location: 181 Agency Ave.
Time: 3:00 - 4:30 pm
All in need of food assistance are welcome to attend and receive food at no cost. A short intake form is filled out onsite; no pre-registration or referrals required.

Details and Instructions
Anyone in need of food assistance from any community is welcome to attend!
We will ask clients to complete a short intake form onsite, then drive through the distribution line. We will ask clients to remain in their vehicles at all times and wear masks while interacting with staff and volunteers. We welcome those who cannot attend to designate someone to pick up for them.
Volunteers will be asked to sanitize, wear masks, and follow social distancing guidelines.

Halloween Coloring Contest!
SRCDC is having a Halloween coloring contest to bring a little fun to the kids this spooky season!
There are 2 different coloring sheets and a winner will be chosen for each.
Prizes are a $25 gift certificate to Starbucks or Scheels.
The deadline is Thursday, October 28th and winners will be announced on Friday, October 29th via our social media sites.
The coloring sheets are available below and also on our social media sites for saving and pringting at home. These coloring sheets will also be available at these locations:

The Halloween Bats and Cats Co-Ed Softball Tournament!
Join us for Halloween Bats and Cats: Wooden Bats Co-ed Softball Tourney!
When: October 30, 2021
Starting at 8:00 a.m.
Where: Fort Yates Softball Field, Fort Yates ND
First Prize: $1,500 and sweaters
Second Prize: $1,000
Third Prize: $500
Tournament info:
Teams must be dressed in costumes or a Halloween theme
A point will be added if not in costumes for opposing team
12 player roster; 5 women or more on the field every game
Alternating batting: 1-hour games or runs rule
Loser brackets will be 5 innings or runs rule
First game will be at 8:00 a.m.

Details About Our "Thanksgiving Back" Food Distribution Event
On November 24, 2020, Standing Rock CDC will be holding our second annual Thanksgiving Back event.
SRCDC will be distributing food kits to representatives from every district, who will then hand them out in their respectful communities.
This year's kits will include an SRCDC mask along with the usual turkey, potatoes, corn, gravy mix, and reusable grocery bag.
This event is just one of multiple food distribution events planned for the holiday season, so please check back for future events. The Standing Rock CDC team wishes all the Standing Rock Lakȟóta and Dakȟóta Tribal Members a safe week ahead.
